Dear Friend of the River -

There's a number that's pretty important to our outreach here and that number is ONE, because the real impact of your gift to 104.9 The River shows up in the life of one person at a time. But there's another ONE just as important to us, and that's you! Because of you, hurting people hear that there's hope in God. I think this note from Debbie says it better than I can:

"I'd been brought to a very dark and dreary point, I felt hopeless and in despair. I was in my car praying God would speak to me and help me with the struggle I was facing when I turned on the radio and the song, 'That's What Faith Can Do' started to play. I broke into tears thanking God for the message I was hearing thru the words. That day, each time I turned on the radio, you were playing that song. I have to believe God was speaking to me, telling me to press on, that there will be a silver lining. I'm still in the situation I was a month ago - actually worse now - but I know that thru the darkest of hours God will see me and my family thru. Thank you from the bottom of my heart to the entire team for your ministry. I listen to you whenever I'm driving. You're a blessing to our community."

The most important life really is the ONE you help change…like Debbie's. And, as we gear up for our spring fundraiser, there are a lot more "Debbies" out there who'll get to hear just the right words or songs that give them hope in their struggles because of your decision to be part of The River family.
